The menu bar above can be color coordinated to compliment or blend in with any desired page layout; a vertical version is available for page layout with the menu bar on the sidebar (both java applets are freeware; credit for their author will be added on the main page of your website). Note that these navigation tools are from the shui long site, but they ARE clickable and will return you to the Additonal Services page, or my home page.

Your page text would be here.... meantime, here's a few things i've learned from the internet and my webpage designer about web design.

1. Making pages user friendly means considering that the average surfer isn't on the latest system, or the highest speed internet access. My own system is fairly middle of the road, so it works as a good referee in this regard.

2. People with disabilities rely on readable color schemes and typed descriptions of graphics to be able to access all information on a site. Takes a little more time to accommodate, but worth it!

3. Pages that load quickly are more likely to be read than pages with long loading graphics. For high intensity graphics, there are some alternatives (though I wouldn't advise using them on the main/index page to prevent people surfing away).

4. Some people use computers with security systems that block sites using java script (java script commands are sometimes used by programmers to spread malicious computer code). While I may incorporate a freeware java applet menu bar or animation, I prefer not to use java script for this reason.

5. Google, the top search engine, in part determines ranking by how many sites have links to your site. For this reason, I strongly suggest a links page of sites related somehow to your page. Consider it cyberspace's version of networking!

Who owns your page after you've paid for my services? YOU do.
Copyright will be under my name and all contributors to content of your site. If you are interested in learning how to manage and update your own webpage after i've constructed it, I'd be happy to help you understand how to do it (this is what my webpage designer did for me). If you have background using WYSIWYG word processing/desktop publishing programs, learning how to work with a page already constructed to form a new one isn't too difficult.

Keep in mind that my primary profession is health care.
I do believe that educating the patient and professional public through the internet is a vital part of a healthcare practice, and this is why I also offer website composition as a service. My webpage composition isn't the ultimate in graphic interfaces and animation (top webpage designers have higher fees, for good reason). . . however, my experience is that an attractive and well-designed webpage without all the bells and whistles can still be an effective marketing tool. Anything I design can be reworked by another web designer should you choose to invest in a more high-end web presence for your business or vocation.

If you'd prefer that I manage and update your pages, my services will be billed at an hourly rate (based on my availability).

You know sort of what you want to say, but don't like your writing style?
I can also write copy for you based on your ideas and notes; see my rates for that service. Depending upon how much copy you have, and how many pages a website based on it might be, a discount for the total package can be negotiated.

clickable link menu below has identical items to menu bar above, for browsers without applet capability, or for those using computers with an interface to compensate for disabilities

your e-mail address can be within the text, or set apart.

how about a cute animation?

with a commercial site, it's impossible to avoid spam altogether without missing bona-fide inquiries; however, e-mail addresses can be typed and unlinked
